2021 Ford F-350 | Regina

The Ford F-350 is one of the most powerful pickups on the market, blurring the lines between heavy-duty and a true commercial grade. It features some of the highest capability ratings in the entire truck sector and pairs them with a rare level of interior comfort and technology. We have the latest 2021 version of the Ford F-350 available at our Regina dealership, and here are the highlights you can expect from this immensely capable truck.

New Features for 2021

As the F-350 is headed for a full, next-generation redesign in the near future, changes for 2021 are minor. A bed sidestep is now available on all trims, there are a few new paint colour options, and manually adjustable towing mirrors are now an option on more trims.

Exterior and Design

The F-350 is a large, heavy truck built for serious work, and this is obvious from the first glance. The front end recalls an eighteen-wheeler with its huge grille and sloped hood, while the high wheel arches and double rear wheels give it a high and chunky look that shows the F-350 will take all kinds of terrain in its stride.

Performance and Capability

No matter how hard you need to make it work, the F-350 has the power and capability to do what you ask of it. All models of the 2021 F-350 are fitted with a ten-speed automatic transmission and the option of either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. However, there are several engine choices available. The standard mill is a 6.2L gasoline V8 producing 385 horsepower and 430lb-ft of torque. If that isn't heavy-duty enough, there's a 7.3L V8 pushing out 430 horsepower and 475lb-ft. But for really astounding torque performance, the 6.7L turbodiesel option backs up its 475hp output with an industry-leading 1,050lb-ft. As you'd expect, these figures deliver some extremely impressive towing and payload capabilities. Depending on the cab and bed configuration, the 2021 F-350 can handle between 1,311kg and 3,561kg in the payload. Towing is even more impressive, with a low-end capacity of 5,443kg rising to a jaw-dropping 16,216kg with the diesel rig.

Infotainment Systems

At the most basic level, the low-end F-350 trims are fitted with a 4.5" infotainment screen and a gauge cluster display. However, higher trims upgrade the display to an 8" touchscreen which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with navigation an option. Extra connectivity is supplied by at least one USB port, with charging handled by extra charge-only USBs, wireless device charging, and a 100-volt outlet available depending on the trim.

Safety Features

The combination of active safety systems varies according to the trim, but options to choose from include:

  • Front automatic emergency braking.
  • Blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage.
  • Adaptive cruise control.
  • Trailer sway control.
  • A full 360-degree view camera system for high visibility.
