Trims and Price

The SUV is available in four trims: Select, Premium, California Route 1, and the GT Performance Edition. Pricing ranges from $51,495 to $83,495 for the GT Performance Edition. All trims are available in rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD).

Exterior

The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E’s design is inspired by its muscle car sibling. You can clearly identify the striking similarities when you compare the two models. That’s where the similarities stop. The SUV has a modern exterior design with smart features. The front has no grille, but the GT comes standard with a black grille that looks exquisite.

Interior and Tech

All trims have a multitude of great standard tech features. Each trim has a 39.37cm touchscreen, SiriusXM with 360L, FordPass Connect, a 25.65cm digital cluster screen, and wireless phone charging and integration, to name a few.

The Premium and GT Performance Edition have standard entertainment systems that include a Bang and Olufsen 10 speaker sound system with a subwoofer, a media bin, MP3 capabilities, and speed-compensated volume control. The Premium trim also includes ambient cabin lighting. The California Route 1 trim has a panoramic sunroof, Ford’s BlueCruise system, an automated parking system, driver’s seat memory settings, a 360-view camera system, a heated steering wheel, and heated seats.

The cabin is luxurious, with plenty of space in the front and the back. There’s 29.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat and 59.7 cubic feet of room for passengers in the back seat.

Safety

All trims have Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist 2.0 technology installed as standard. This technology includes blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic and reverse brake assist, emergency braking, a lane-keeping system, and pre-and post-collision assist, to name a few. The pre-collision assist system will sense an oncoming collision and bring the vehicle to a stop to avoid a collision if the driver’s reaction is too slow.

Range and Performance

The Select puts out 266 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque. The Select’s range is 397km for the RWD. The Premium has an extended range of 488km and peak power of 346 horsepower. The California Route 1 has a maximum driving range of 502km. The GT has phenomenal power with a maximum output of 480 horsepower and 634 lb-ft of torque. The GT AWD has an estimated range of 418km.
